Coast Guard crew to conduct post-hurricane damage assessment survey flight

Who: Coast Guard C-130 aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C.

What: Media availability for one-way post hurricane damage assessment survey flight from Savannah, Ga. over the Outer Banks and landing in Elizabeth City, N.C. The flight should take approximately two hours once the plane leaves Savannah.

When: Friday, Sept. 3, at approximately 10 a.m. Media are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. and please note that departure time will be dependent on safe weather conditions.

Where: Hunter Army Airfield please meet public affairs escort at the main gate.
