Coast Guard warns mariners of Hurricane Earl dangers

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – A Coast Guard C-130 Hercules aircrew from Air Station Elizabeth City performed a search and rescue patrol Tuesday.

During the patrol, crewmembers used a radio to call out a safety marine information broadcast informing boaters and vessel traffic to the dangers of approaching Hurricane Earl on international emergency channel VHF-FM 16.
