CGC Forward - UNITAS

BMC George Smith shouts commands on the deck of the Cutter Forward during a man-overboard drill. This is just preparation for the Forward’s mission to participate in the international naval exercise UNITAS. UNITAS is aimed at increasing inter-operability between naval forces in the Western Hemisphere and will include forces from seven different nations. The Forward has steamed all the way from its homeport in Portsmouth, Va., and will participate in the exercise off the Pacific Coast of Colombia.
