Coast Guard rescues 2, dog in Shark River, N.J.

SHARK RIVER, N.J. - A 48-foot boat, Nadiein Ann, sits on the jetty in Shark River after two people and their dog were rescued by Coast Guard Station Shark River's rescue boat crew and were transported to emergency medical personnel June 3, 2010. The Coast Guard received a call at approximately 9:35 p.m. over VHF Channel 16 from a crewmember aboard the Nadiein Ann reporting they were aground and taking on water.
