SHARK RIVER, N.J. - The Coast Guard called off its search for a 49-year-old man in the water between Ocean Grove, N.J., and Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J., Thursday.
Missing was Theodore Ross, 49.
The Coast Guard was notified by members of Neptune Police Department reporting they had located Ross on the beach alive.
Coast Guard Station Shark River rescue boat crew was called off the search.
Agencies involved in the search were Neptune Police Department, Bradley Beach Police Department, Avon-by-the-Sea, Bel Mar and Bradley Beach Fire and Rescue.
