ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Senator Kay Hagan tours the Coast Guard Aircraft Logistics Center and Air Station in Elizabeth City Wednesday. Senator Hagan spent the day in the area meeting with local elected officials and other local leaders to discuss jobs and economic development here.

The logistics center employs more than 1,400 military, civilian, contractor, and high school apprentice personnel with an annual operating budget of $250 million. They occupy 14 buildings that house 508,500 square feet of space on the Support Center complex.
