VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Coast Guard members, Sammy the Sea Otter and Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service will be available to provide safe boating advice at the Old Coast Guard Station at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Thursday at 1 p.m.
WHO: Coast Guardsmen, a Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service representative, and Sammy the Sea Otter, the Coast Guard's safety mascot.
WHAT: Opportunity to interview Coast Guardsmen and a Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service representative to inform viewers and readers of safety measures that should be taken in order to avoid danger on the water during the upcoming holiday weekend.
WHEN: 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.
WHERE: In front of the Old Coast Guard Station,
