PHILADELPHIA — Coast Guard members from around the nation attended and were honored at the 26^th Black Engineer of the Year Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Global Competitiveness Conference here Friday.

The three-day conference provided an opportunity for networking and professional development.

Coast Guard members were awarded numerous awards for leadership and significant achievements within the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
