PHILADELPHIA — Coast Guard members from around the nation attended and were honored at the 26th Black Engineer of the Year Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Global Competitiveness Conference here Friday. 

The three-day conference provided an opportunity for networking and professional development.

Coast Guard members were awarded numerous awards for leadership and significant achievements within the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
